Course Dates | In person @ Hood River School District Offices / 6:00-9:00 pm | July 15, 16, 17, 18, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 (2 weeks)
Drive Dates | The schedule above is provided for class time only, 6 behind the wheel lessons will be scheduled in addition with the instructor outside of class and will extend beyond the last class.

Students MUST have a permit in order to register for this class. This course counts as 50 of the 100 hours required for your teen to obtain their license.
Driver test? What driver test?
There are a ton of great reasons to enroll in drivers ed classes, but the best one - you don’t have to take the DMV driver test to get your license! That’s right, if you pass, you’re essentially excused from one of life’s most nerve-wracking rites of passage!
***Students registered for this program must not obtain their license prior to completing this program. Verification of eligibility may be performed prior to end of class.
If the student:
1) fails to complete the class, or
2) turns 18 years of age prior to completion, or
3) attains his/her driver license prior to class completion, they are no longer eligible for reimbursement by the state and therefore an additional $210 will automatically be charged to your card on file.
Course Non-Completion: If at the end of the course, a student has not completed all work in order to pass, a non-completion letter will be sent home explaining the reasons for the student not completing the course. The student will be given additional time to complete the necessary course work. If the class work has not been completed within the allotted time, the student will receive a failing grade. There are NO REFUNDS for this program.
We recommend approximately 10 hours of driving practice prior to this course.
